The Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy (ZID) presented a comprehensive session at AMFIC to prepare ZAOGA Forward in Faith Ministries missionaries who are about to take up pastoral assignments abroad. The presentation focused on essential areas that support effective ministry and representation in international environments. The session covered key topics including Diplomatic, Corporate and Church Protocol, giving missionaries practical guidance on navigating official engagements, organisational structures and ceremonial procedures in various cultural settings.
Missionaries were also taken through Appropriate Business and Social Etiquette, exploring communication styles, respectful behaviour, and conduct expected when interacting with diverse communities, institutions and individuals. To further strengthen their readiness, ZID presented on Grooming, Deportment and Appearance for Missionaries, highlighting the importance of personal presentation, confidence, and maintaining a composed and dignified presence while serving internationally.
This preparation contributes to ensuring that the missionaries adapt smoothly, communicate effectively and uphold the expected standards as they represent the ministry across different nations.
Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy remains committed to training churches and religious institutions in excellence, professionalism and global readiness.
