World Vision Zimbabwe, in partnership with the Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy (ZID), successfully conducted a dynamic four-day Leadership and Public Speaking Training for child leaders from primary and secondary schools in Rushinga District.
The programme empowered learners with essential skills in:
Leadership for Child Leaders; Self-Awareness and the 5 Ps of Leadership (Purpose, Principles, People, Performance & Professionalism); Public Speaking and Confidence Building; Social & Corporate Protocol; Grooming and Etiquette; Communication through Teambuilding Theory and Practical Exercises; Drug and Substance Abuse Awareness; Child Marriages Awareness and Professionalism for the Child of the Universe.
Through interactive sessions, practical presentations and engaging team-building activities, learners strengthened their confidence, communication abilities, discipline and leadership responsibility.
This initiative reflects a shared commitment to raising a generation of confident, self-aware and responsible young leaders ready to positively transform their schools and communities.
