Rebranding Customer Service Training for The Office of The Auditor General (OAG) Corporate Staff Members
Two workshops in Capacity Development, Mentorship Training in Customer Service, Business Etiquette, Grooming and Team Building were conducted for the The Office of The Auditor General (OAG) Corporate Staff members on 28 November – 2 December 2022 and 5-9 December 2022 in Chinhoyi at CUT Hotel. The workshop was a rebranding tool for the newly branded independent Institution. The workshops were officially opened by the Deputy Auditor General, Mr. Bonface Mukwenga. In his remarks, the Deputy Auditor General assured the participants that the training is a prerequisite to the success of the Institution. The workshop covered Business Etiquette techniques, how to understand codes of Government, State and Ministerial Protocol, How to endeavor in organizational structures, Official Communication Skills, how to run Excellent Customer Service Operation, and Presentation Skills, Professional Grooming and Deportment, Effective Team Building and Time Management Techniques, How to dovetail Negotiation Skills, Professional and Personal Banding, how to handle and deal with difficult co-workers, how to handle cultural diffusion as dictated by International Protocol.
Mr V.A Chikanda, a Diplomat, Protocol, Business and Professional Grooming Academic at the Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy, was the chief Facilitator at the workshop. Such Capacity Development Training Workshops, are a Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy Training and Mentorship projects to assist companies, organizations, ministries and cooperates, to fulfill their mandates in diplomacy, protocol, etiquette and professional branding, gearing them with tools that will help them improve their professional performance in business environments.
