Capacity Development Training In Advanced Diplomacy, Protocol And Etiquette And Professional Branding For MEFMI Programme Assistants

   The International Civil Service needs a high-functioning team to execute the challenges and strategies of international business engagement. Executive Assistants are hired to leverage roles of top executives and managers resulting in increased effectiveness and productivity. To meet this challenging role the Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy conducted a 5-Day retooling and Capacity Development Training Workshop for MEFMI Programme Assistants. The workshop equipped the Programme Assistants with Soft Skills to facilitate the upgrading of their performance and strategize for job profile enrichment. The Training focused on contemporary practical Business and Office Protocol; International Business Etiquettes; Guidelines for Decorum; Professional Grooming and Deportment; Professionalism, Image and Self-Projection; Effective Public Speaking and Presentation Skills; Professional Business Document Preparation and Writing; Language of Diplomatic Documents;  Project Proposals, Memos, Executive Summary and Minute taking including Event Management, Stress Management, Dealing with difficult Bosses, Co-workers and Clients.
