Women Entrepreneurs to Receive Training in Business Etiquette, Protocol, Soft Skills and Entrepreneurship from the Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy

The Executive Director of Women’s Farming Syndicate (WFS), Ms T. Machingauta paid a courtesy call on the Chairperson of the Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy, Mr V. A Chikanda on Wednesday 24 May 2017 at the Institute’s Campus.

Ms Machingauta expressed the desire for the W.F.S  to establish a bond of friendship and cooperation with the Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy. The two Institutions will find areas of cooperation and partner to meet a common goal in respect of their objectives.

Mr V. A Chikanda in a response thanked his guest for the visit and assured her of materializing the cooperation between the two Institutions and areas of interest to tangible programmes. Mr Chikanda explained how women entrepreneurs can benefit from the ZID programmes especially the following Business Practice and Business Protocol; Business Etiquette; Professional Grooming, Deportment and Presentation Skills; Entrepreneurship and Project Management; Diplomacy and Negotiation Skills; Business Leadership Skills Training and Conference Hosting and Event Management.  Mr Chikanda added that the ZID provides a networking conduit for business people and is a platform for professionalism, efficiency, efficacy and grooming.

The Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy and the Women’s Farming Syndicate are now preparing the Memorandum of Understanding to create the platform for cooperation and synergies.
