Northern Central District Heads and Accountants benefitted from the Leadership, Stress Management and Dealing with Difficult People Coaching conducted by the Institute on Friday 27 April 2018 at Manna Resorts.
The Leadership Coaching embraced the qualities and roles of a successful leader; types and styles of leaders; strategic decision making and decision goal making and differences between leadership and management. Without doubt, teachers are the role models for our children; when they dress professionally it sends important message to the students. Therefore, an incompetent teacher is not only a bad educator but also a signal of a corrupt and incompetent generation and nation at large.
The workshop also covered requisite Stress Management Techniques for civil servants operating in the challenging socio-economic environment. To crown it all, participants shared a practical presentation on How to Deal with Difficult Parents, Co-workers and Clients.
In conclusion, the importance of the education sector as a catalyst to societal development and an architect of our future generation, demands not only the most intelligent but also perfectly groomed educators with knowledge of leadership. However, the overall objective of the Training was to create a resilient civil servant geared to make a difference through dedication, effective leadership and the ability to positively influence the working environment.
