Professionalism is reflected in how we communicate, present ourselves and interact with others. In the education sector, teachers and school staff are not only educators, but also role models whose conduct and professional image help shape the learning environment.
The Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy (ZID) conducted a Half-Day Business Etiquette and Professional Grooming Workshop for staff at Palm Springs Junior School on 3 September 2026.
Facilitated by Ambassador Academic V.A. Chikanda, the workshop covered business and social etiquette, professional grooming and deportment, workplace communication, receiving visitors, engaging with parents and distinguished guests and digital etiquette.
The practical session reinforced the importance of professionalism, confidence and appropriate self-presentation in strengthening both individual and institutional image.
The workshop forms part of ZID’s commitment to promoting professionalism, etiquette and excellence across different sectors.
