The Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy (ZID) successfully hosted a three-day Effective Public Speaking and Presentation Skills Workshop from 24–26 June 2026 at its Broadlands Campus in Emerald Hill, Harare. The programme brought together professionals from Fidelity Life Assurance of Zimbabwe and other organisations seeking to strengthen their communication, leadership and presentation competencies. The workshop was facilitated by Ambassador V. A. Chikanda, a diplomacy, protocol and international relations expert at the Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy.

Through highly interactive practical sessions, participants enhanced their confidence, presentation techniques, audience engagement and persuasive communication skills. The workshop featured impromptu speeches, individual presentations and personalised feedback, enabling participants to translate knowledge into practical workplace competence.
